In 2023, Peikko supplied key components to the Blombacka project in Sweden, near Skara municipality, including a Cage Rock foundation with an extended pedestal, fully manufactured in Finland. The foundation features 16 FATBAR® 64 Post-Tensioned Anchors, each 16 meters long, double-headed PSB reinforcement, along with a complete anchor cage set and formworks.
Blombacka showcases Modvion's first commercial pilot project featuring a modular laminated wood wind turbine tower with a height of 105 meters. These towers are strong, lightweight, and sustainable.
